AVA hip hop festival

AVA Hip Hop Festival-is a full week moving festival organized during the third week of May (International Hip Hop Appreciation Week) that brings residence artists to collaborate with local artists in different community structures across Uganda mainly Urban, Marginalized, Rural and tourism for a packed tour, open mics, exhibitions, trainings and celebrations offering a diverse audience with an authentic experience of diverse cultural expressions. The purpose of the festival is;

• To promote cross-cultural exchange using music, poetry and story telling a medium of self-
expression.

• To share knowledge, preserve culture, and to celebrate our stories.

• To explore new ways of exploring our identity.

• To offer a diverse audience with an authentic experience of diverse cultural expressions
