The AVA Hip Hop Festival third edition is a dynamic and inclusive moving 10-day event, set to take place this year in September 2024, that aims to bridge cultures and foster unity through the power of Hip Hop. By bringing together artists from various backgrounds across Uganda, Africa, and the world, the festival seeks to address the challenge of cultural divides and promote understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural expressions. With a rich program featuring wisdom cyphers, symposiums, cultural tours, open mics, and celebrations, the festival offers a platform for artists to showcase their talents while providing audiences with an authentic indigenous experience. Targeting a diverse audience spanning refugee camps, urban spaces, and rural communities, the festival aims to create meaningful connections and promote social cohesion through the universal language of hip hop.
